I grew up in Colorado and I've spent a lot of time exploring and playing in the mountains. I've climbed all of Colorado's 14ers along with the Hundred highest peaks in the state and I've had some amazing trips. More recently I've done more mountain biking, wakeboarding, and whatever else comes up outdoors. I've been a skier my whole life and I picked up snowboarding too a few years back.
I usually run one or two races of some sort a year though I'm not a runner; I also like art, wine, music, etc festivals, I like reading when I have time, I like rainstorms, snowstorms and powder days when I have nothing to do but ride all day.
I used to help build trails with the Colorado 14ers initiative and teach a winter mountaineering course, but a few years back I joined Search and Rescue and it's taken over a lot of my free time. I've met some great people through the team and where else do you get free helicopter rides into some of the state's most remote wilderness areas? Or get to run around the top of the Continental Divide in the middle of the night looking for lost people? All while volunteering your time to defy Darwin.
Occupation (from above): CPA, Real Estate Investor, Search and Rescue (it's volunteer but often takes as much time as a job), Venture Capitalist, Entrepreneur, ski bum.
Friends and relatives say that I'm grounded, modest, picky, stubborn, sarcastic, busy, a smart ass, ambitious, analytical, opinionated, circumspect, organized, down to earth and have expensive tastes. And no you wouldn't think those would all go together but they do.

I'm always up for meeting different people, and my friends range from girls who have spent time in Taiwanese prisons, to people who love the outdoors to people who need their malls and get nauseous around too many trees.
